High Tea by the High Sea Social!
Step back into the elegance of time as we celebrate one of Alma’s most extraordinary female icon, Captain Molly Kool, North America’s first female sea captain. On Sunday, October 12th from 2:00pm-4:00pm at the Alma Cultural Centre, we invite you to honour Molly with an afternoon of tea, music, and celebration at the High Tea by the High Sea Social.
Enjoy locally foraged Herb & Joy Tea, alongside a delicious assortment of sweet treats and relax to the sounds of acclaimed local harpist Dorothy Brezinski, who will enchant you with her beautiful and powerful music.
Guests are encouraged to dress in their finest tea party attire, including but not limited to vintage charm, pearls and of course, a fascinator is always in fashion. Join us as we pay tribute to Molly Kool and the lasting inspiration she brings to our coastal heritage during the Alma Fleet Launch celebrations!
